Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
V15ION Acoustic Analytics Inc. ("V15ION", "we", "us") is a company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada, that develops passive acoustic analytics for marine mammal monitoring. We are responsible for personal information collected through this website, v15ion.ai.
2. What we collect
When you submit our demo request form, we collect:
- Your full name
- Your organization
- Your email address
- Your role (chosen from a list)
- Your message, if you write one
We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels or any tracking scripts.
Like any website, some technical information is processed automatically when you visit. Our hosting provider, Netlify, may record your IP address and browser details in server logs for security and reliability. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google. We do not receive or use that information.
3. How we use it
We use your form submission only to reply to your request and follow up about V15ION's services. We won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing unless you explicitly ask us to.
4. Where it is stored
Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, Inc. through its Forms service, on servers in the United States. By submitting the form, you acknowledge that your information will be transferred to and stored in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under US law. We read submissions through the Netlify dashboard and may receive them by email. Netlify's practices are described in its privacy policy.
5. How long we keep it
We keep form submissions only as long as needed to respond and for reasonable business records, and no longer than 24 months. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.
6. Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with:
- Netlify, which hosts this website and processes the form (section 4)
- Authorities, where the law, a regulation or a court order requires it
7. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Access the information we hold about you
- Correct information that is wrong
- Delete your information
- Withdraw any consent you have given

8. Canadian privacy law
We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). We collect only what we need for the purpose described here, and by submitting the form you consent to that use. If you have a concern we can't resolve, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
9. Visitors from Europe and the UK
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we process your form submission under the General Data Protection Regulation on the basis of legitimate interest: replying to an inquiry you started. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
10. Children
This website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will ask for your consent where the law requires it.
